Poem: Remain in Grey

My bane, he’s lodged between the grey, the black
With claws and fog he sows an autumn scourge
If only pain he wrought - I’d silent stay
Yet jaws like silken stones, push deep, keep hold
So quiet taunts remain - my bane - myself
